Hiking & Backpacking

Are you are looking for red rocks and sandstone, or hot springs and hidden canyons? Desert hiking is most enjoyable in cooler temps which means winter, spring and fall. Summer hiking is more challenging so we visit areas that are slightly less... hot.
Spend the day scrambling on fiery red rock, or sneaking into hidden pinyon forests. Strap on a backpack and camp out near the river while enjoying the hot springs at night. Our multisport trips will give you the most bang for your buck. Whatever adventure you choose, the desert is waiting for you.

FINDING WATER IN THE DESERT
The desert environment is a stark contrast to most hiking destinations. Water is a rare commodity and at first glance the landscape may seem barren and lifeless. But life does exist in a rich abundance. You just have to know where to look.

Education is important, but hiking is importanter.
