FIRE SAND AND SNOW MULTISPORT
A comprehensive three-day adventure spanning three spectacular parks. It's a “triple threat” experience combining diverse terrains and activities, perfect for those who want it all.
About the Experience
Begin your day bright and early, as you are picked up from your hotel in one of our passenger vans. The scenic drive to southern Utah passes through the depths of the Virgin River Gorge, a stunning landscape in itself.
A brief bathroom stop allows for snacks, muffins, coffee, and morning caffeine.
The area is a photographer's dream, with spring and fall being wildflower seasons. Explore the lava tubes, or enjoy watching rock climbers scale the face of a towering cliff suspended from a single rope.
Snow Canyon will be your basecamp for two nights, while you explore the area. Opt for hiking lava tubes, exploring the sandstone hills, and ducking past pinion pines on winding red sand trails. Enjoy lunches either trailside or at a scenic viewpoint. Dinners will be served fireside under a canopy of stars.
Upon arrival at Sand Hollow, you will help unload the double kayaks or SUPs, PFD's, paddles, and other gear. After a brief talk about safety protocol and some basic paddling instruction, you will take to the water.
Explore the lake and paddle around the small coves, stopping for photos and possibly swimming. A healthy picnic lunch can be enjoyed on the pink sand dunes or from the shade of a cottonwood tree.
Valley of Fire State Park is a beautiful place full of red sandstone, rock scrambling, petroglyphs, and photography. Your group will stop here at either the beginning or end of the excursion, depending on the itinerary during the trip.
