SUP 101 INTRO course
Take a SUP lesson to work on basic paddling skills or perfect your technique.
About the Course
This class takes place near the Boulder Islands at Lake Mead. Paddle with an ACA Level 1 or Level 2 certified SUP instructor, who will take time to demonstrate basic paddling techniques that will help you along the water. This brief lesson will give you the confidence to efficiently paddle a SUP. It is the perfect environment to learn the basics or go to the next level with your SUP skills.
If time allows, we can paddle to the Boulder Islands. Most of the class will be aimed at entry level techniques, and getting beginners used to being in prone and standing positions and using a variety of paddling strokes.

Able to fit into a 52" class III PFD approved by the US Coast Guard

What Should I Wear?
Your vehicle will be near the water's edge with all your belonging close at hand. We recommend bringing a dry change of clothes for the drive home. Come prepared. Temperatures can vary greatly, so it is best to be prepared for all types of weather conditions. We have put together a recommended gear list for you, which will help keep you comfortable while enjoying the outdoors.
