Justin Faulkner
Warehouse & Field Support MGR
Born/Raised:
Las Vegas, Nevada
Pronouns:
He/Him/His
Favorite Trip:
Kayaking in Florida with my family. A close second is backpacking to the hot springs for long soaks.
Justin was raised in Boulder City, Nevada and is a huge lover of all kinds of music. He is an accomplished musician, and can play a mean guitar. He has a large vinyl collection which takes up valuable space in his living room.
Justin likes to tell stories of insane mountain bike rides in Peru, and hiking exposed narrow trails with 1000' drops on the way to Macchu Picchu. He likes to travel and explore, as long as it isn't cold (he loves living in the hot desert!).
As a guide, Justin appreciates being able to showcase the hidden side of the area. He is a big advocate of education and preservation, and he loves to share that knowledge with people. He is inspired by Anthony Bourdain, who tried to show us the rest of this amazing world.
When asked what it's like to work at Desert Adventures, Justin replied, "It feels like being part of a family that pushes each other to enhance their skills, both in and out of the field. Or... being on a never-ending road trip with a bunch of whiny kids."
In closing, J-Boogie wants to leave us with this quote:
"To see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, draw closer, to find each other, and to feel. That is the purpose of life." - The Secret Life of Walter Mitty
