Joyce is originally from Snoqualmie, Washington. She grew up inner tubing the Snoqualmie River and hiking Mt Si and Mt Ranier. As a teen, her family took a coast to coast camping trip in each of the 50 states. As an adult her adventures include horseback riding in Jamaica, elephant riding in Thailand and snorkeling in the Caribbean.
'Joyus' as we call her, has Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and is a Certified Fitness Instructor. When we asked her what she had been doing for the past 10 years, she said, "Evolving!" If we had to describe Joyce is one word, it would be 'Resilient'. Her proudest accomplishment is being a mom.
Joyce wears many hats at Desert Adventures; Sales & Marketing Director, Logistics Coordinator, Office Manager, and Solver of Problems (big or small). She is an integral player in the development of new programs, tours, and operations.
