About The Position

If you can perform physical labor such as climbing, lifting, carrying, and squatting, you may be a good fit. Applicants must be willing to work in an outdoor desert environment, be physically fit, and able to lift 50+ lbs alone, and 100 lbs with the help of another person. Warehouse crew will assist in warehouse operations, organizing gear, preparing for upcoming trips, and assisting Guides. Responsibilities include maintaining and cleaning equipment, repairing gear, maintaining cleanliness of warehouse and retail store, loading kayaks and canoes onto trailers, prepping for upcoming trips, and coordinating logistics with guides and drivers.


Warehouse staff must demonstrate solid work ethic, possess high standards, be detail-oriented, and extremely organized. Qualified applicants must have basic computer skills, be able to work quickly and efficiently without supervision, have a sense of urgency, and be on time. You must always act in a professional manner, and dress according to your job function.


Shifts are mostly from mid-day to evening, with occasional early mornings being scheduled. Cross-training is available for qualified staff interested in obtaining other positions with Desert Adventures.
