SUNSET CANOE TOUR LAKE MEAD
Experience the enchanting beauty of a desert sunset with our Sunset Canoe Tour on Lake Mead. This four-hour excursion allows you to paddle in the cool evening air, witness the orange and purple hues of the sky, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere as day turns to night. A brief stop allows us to enjoy a few snacks on some islands before paddling back.

About the Experience
Join us as we welcome the end of the day on the water. Watching the sun slowly dip behind the horizon is such a peaceful experience, and even more so from your own canoe.
In addition to the dusky hues of pink, purple, and orange you might see fish jumping during this active time of day. Be sure to have your camera ready for magical lighting during the golden hour.
Our fully guided sunset canoe tour is a great way to spend an evening with family or friends. A tandem canoe is a great option for couples or an adventure date.
Meet us at the lake in your own vehicle, where you can drive right to the water's edge. We will paddle to some nearby islands and stop to stretch our legs and take in the sunset.

Come prepared. Temperatures can vary greatly, so it is best to be prepared for all types of weather conditions. We have put together a recommended gear list for you, to help make your journey comfortable and enjoyable.

- Shorts or pants and shirt (not cotton)
- Dress in layers
- River sandals or water shoes (no flip flops)
- Swimsuit (wear under clothes)
- Hat and sunglasses

In cooler months (Nov-March) add:
- Base layer (polypro, capilene, etc.)
- Fleece top (for warmth)
