About the Experience

The Liberty Bell Arch hike was so named for the natural archway that resembles it's namesake in Philadephia. At just over five miles round-trip, it is a moderately challenging trail.

You will start out in a narrow canyon before passing a few interesting rock features. Along the trail you will have the chance to see the remnants of a historical magnesium mine from the World War 2 era.

Toward the end of the trail, hikers are rewarded with stunning views of Black Canyon and the Colorado river below. Take a break and enjoy the scenery, perhaps spotting kayakers on the river below.

Desert bighorn sheep, turkey vultures, lizards and coyotes are often seen on this hike.

Liberty Bell Arch is a great hike for those seeking a trail with less foot-traffic.

This tour package for two includes a hotel room in historic Boulder City at the newly remodeled Best Western, along with breakfast at the Southwest Diner. The hotel is within walking distance of local shops, brew pubs, and restaurants.
